In the 1920's Germany(or the Weimar Republic) was really unpowerful because of their losses after the first World War. They needed leadership and the Nazi party, lead by Hitler was able to rule the country. It was not until after they were in power that they started their propaganda against the Jews and all foreigners, and started to take away rights. The reason why this was going on is because at first the rest of the world felt bad for Germany because they had lost all power and they let this go on for a while. Later when Germany started forcing people into concentration camps, other countries couldn't help because they were worried about themselves and other countries refused to believe it.
