Ghettos were very large populated areas which were very small. Some containing nearly half a million jews in only a square mile or 63 thousand in one tenth of a mile. These locations were very unsanitary. Many jews died in these places because of desease. Millions of Jews were shipped were shipped out of theses ghettos and into concentration camps where they later died In response to: Research and write about ghettos, such as the Warsaw Ghetto.
