The concentration camps were operated by forcing jews to leave their homes and split up from their families. When they were brought to the camp the babies were used as target practice. The people who were to weak were sent to the hospital, not many came out alive. The other people worked or burried bodies. Some of the bodies were still laive that were supposed to be burried. One man refused to burry a body because the person was still alive and once aquainted with him. He was shot on the spot. The nazi German camps were expanded to make more room for new prisoners. In response to: How did the concentration camp system operate? How was it expanded?
