We are a first
grade class from Port Jefferson Station, New York at Terryville Road School. We read
several bunny books together. We drew bunny pictures and wrote bunny poems (worksheet available for your use.) I also started
a Bunny Readers Book Club. The children will read books about rabbits at home and choose
their favorite one and report on it. A special chocolate surprise will be waiting for them
after their presentations. A bunny writing center was set up with bunny books and
beautiful bunny stationary for the children to write about the books. They will also write
their own bunny stories. We also loved the on-line bunny games and enjoyed reading the
bunny writings from other classes. |
