We enjoyed
reading a variety of chocolate stories: More M&M's Math,
Chocolate Touch, Chocolatina, Hot Fudge,
Curious George, Milton Hershey, Mercedes and the
Chocolate Pilot, and Cam Jansen and the Chocolate Fudge
Mystery. Students learned how to graph our favorite
chocolate treats using Microsoft Excel. They also used the theme
of "Chocolate" to review Acrostic, Circular, and Cinquain
poetry. For More M&M's Math we estimated the number of M&M's and
made a graph of the actual amounts.
