My Day at the Market

perufl.gif (3740 bytes)

The idea came from Saturday Sancocho by Leyla Torres.  I started with Sweet Tarts and Cookies.  I bartered some of Cookies and a Sweet Tart for a lollipop. I also bartered a Cookie for some Gummy Fish. We read the book Saturday Sancocho because we are learning about Peru and South America. Peru is a country in South America.  Incas were the people long, long ago who lived there. They lived in the Andes. The Andes are mountains in Peru. I like learning about South America, Peru, the Andes Mountains and the Incas and how they lived long, long ago. I think you should visit South America, Peru and the Andes Mountains and maybe you can or will learn more about South America, Peru, the Andes Mountains and the Incas and how they lived long, long ago. If I were you, I'd go see South America, Peru and the Andes Mountains. I am interested because of my wonderful teacher, Mrs. Silverman. If you don't want to visit SouthAmerica, Peru and the Andes Mountains, I have a suggestion that I think you will like and it costs nothing at all. It's just go to a library and look up South America, Peru, the Andes Mountains and Incas.

Llamas live in Bolivia, Chile and Peru. They eat grasses and leaves.  Llamas have two toes.  They don't like the wind.  They also make a mooing sound.

The Nosey Bunny

One day on a Tuesday Nosey a bunny who lived at Old Rash St. went to the lion cage and saw Roary a lion looking at the lions too.  Roary had two noses, one where it was supposed to be and one on his tail.   Nosey didn't even have one nose. She asked Roary if she could have the nose on Roary's tail. Roary said "Yes." Roary gave Nosey a nose and that is how bunnies got their noses.

The Shark Detective

shark.gif (4275 bytes)

This story takes place at an aquarium, in the ocean and outside.  Once there was a great white shark.  He was swimming and the next thing he knew he was trapped in a net.  He was taken to an aquarium.  But he escaped.

He was very amazing and he could walk on land.  He also was a very good detective and he wanted to find out who caged him.  He found the net that trapped him in the aquarium's staff room.  There on the net was written most plain, Max Gip.  Then he saw a worker and on that worker's shirt he saw the name Max Gip.  The great white called the shark police.  They came within a second.  Max Gip got thrown into the water and was never to be seen again.  As for the great white, he went back into the water and celebrated with his friends.  He only came back up for investigations.
