I think the man in the photograph is a negro man who is a slave.

In my town we don't sell negro people.

He probably a man who is a slave that is geting sold.

In our town we do not sell people as slaves.

I think there were still still slaves and the civil war was in progress.

I think this man is being auction for a slave.

In my town there are more people and there aren't any slave auctions.

I think that the south like Taxas because of the way the town looked in that time.

I think that that man was a Negro seller because e is sitting infront of the store and he is sitting naxt to something that looks like a rifle.

African Slaves were being sold.

Question: Who do you think the man in the photograph is?
I can't say what race he is. But I would have to guess he's a seller of this shop.

Question: How is the shopping area in this town different from the shopping areas in your town?
There are a few shops like this in California. Maybe in the old towns that havent been altered.
