I think this picture was taken in a slave house and it took place in 1878.

Question: Compare your life to the lives of the people in this picture.
If I compare my life to theirs my life would be better because I'm not a slave.

Question: How would you feel if you lived at the time this picture was taken?
If I lived at this time the picture was taken iIwould be very sad.

I think that this picture was taken in one of the southern states around 1865.

Question: Compare your life to the lives of the people in this picture.
My life varies greatly from the lives of those in this picture. I have a quality of life that surpasses those pictured here, and I owe a debt of gratitude to people such as these for the life that I enjoy today.

Question: How would you feel if you lived at the time this picture was taken?
It's hard to say exactly how I would feel without actually being placed in that situation. I would like to think that I would fight nobly to help emmancipate the slaves.
