That he should get as much rights as whites.

It is saying that America isnt so free when LAtin Americnas or other antionalities come adn they dont get as many rights.

In this cartoon, I see a new latin immigrant, and a welcome sign. The immigrant is also holding a sign that says 'America, Land of the free..?. Then, I see a fence that represents what immigrants faced.

Question: What is the opinion of the cartoonist?
The opinon of the cartoonist is that a new immigrant is bombarded with so many problems to begin with but other thingfs, ie discrimination made it worse.

There is a question mark on the sign because it's asking, with all of the discrimination that immigrants faced, are they really free?
