Chapter 3: I had horrible flashbacks when I was reading chapter three. As soon as I heard about the list of things the Count left the kids I went into a cold sweat. When I was younger my Mom would not be in the house when I would wake up. She would be out running errands. So she would leave a list for me every saturday morning of what she wanted done when she came home. I hated it with a passion. It was the weekend and I had to practically dust the whole house. Instead of and eye and the bottom of the note she would say, "oh and don't forget the wood work". I get chills even now when I think about it. I can really relate to Klaus, Sunny, Violet on how they felt about the chores. In response to: Please describe your thoughts on this chapter from your literature circle role perspective.
