My role for this chapter was the discussion director. -What would you have made for the Count if he had asked you to prepare dinner? Do you think you could have made puttanesca sauce at the ages of 12 or 14? How long do you think the preparations took for the meal to be complete? -Cooking the puttanesca sauce did not satisfy the Count. What else can the children do to make him happy or to have him treat them differently? -What do you think embarrassing the children in front of his troupe says about Count Olaf’s character?
