This isn't Erin B. This is Stephanie, but my computer is causing problems and didn't want to get points taken off, so I figured this would be my next best bet. I am the Passage Master for Chapter 8. The first apssage I picked was on page #94. The paragraph began with "the book was long, and difficult to read, and Laus became more and more tired as the night wore on." As you go through the paragraph, it describes how tired Laus is and how he reads the same sentence over and over. Then, as a joke palyed on the reader, that sentence is repeated three times! I, myself, had to check to make sure that I wasn't just reading the same sentence over and over. That was great! I also thought the very last paragraph of the chapter was significant, on page #102. You can tell by the author's language and by Olaf's tone that he is up to something and had dome something with Sunny, but we don't know what yet. I thought this was great foreshadowing for the next chapter. One last passage I thought was the most important is on page #96. It starts with, "Klaus ignored the insult and opened the book to where one of the scraps of paper was marking his place." This goes on to explain Olaf's plan and catches him in his own ways. This was very important so far to show that Klaus has MAYBE foiled Olaf's plan. I hope you understand about my computer! Thank you!
