I use this simple machine to help keep my garden looking pretty!  This machine has a fulcrum and an arm.  I supply the force I need to lift the load. 

     Just like the inclined plane, this machine has a tradeoff.  If I move the fulcrum closer to the load, I use a lot less force.  But, I do it over a larger distance!
