Second Grade Class
Dahlgren School
Dahlgren, Virginia

Second graders in this class read many books about the changes they were noticing outside, as the weather became cooler and autumn leaves began to cover the ground. One favorite book was Autumn- An Alphabet Acrostic by Steven Schnur. The Students used KidPix Deluxe 3 to write and illustrate their own acrostic poems using the same format as the poetry in the book.

NETS Standard NT.K-12.4: Students use telecommunications to collaborate, publish, and interact with peers, experts, and other audiences.
