Our class read a lot of stories about
fall. We read books about fall and recorded the titles in our
daily reading logs. Some of the titles were Chipmunks Do What
Chipmunks Do by Julie Verne, How Leaves Got their Colors
by Jane Manners, Annie’s Pictures by Jane Manners,
Fall Colors by Kathryn Lewis and Henry and Mudge Under
the Yellow Moon by Cynthia Rylant. We collaborated with our
mothers and wrote poems about fall. Our moms did a great job. We
also wrote individual poems. We used Kidspiration software to
illustrate these poems and typed them in AppleWorks. We
displayed our collaborative poems on the closet doors of our
room.
Here are a few of our collaborative
poems.
Here are a few of our individual poems.
