| We are so excited to be a part of the Frosty Readers
and want to thank Mrs. Silverman for her time and effort coordinating this wonderful
project. We are anxious to see what all of our global friends have created.
We enjoyed reading The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. Hanford is in a valley and we get fog in the winter instead of snow. We thought it would be fun to rewrite the story as "The Foggy Day." We hope you enjoy it!
The Foggy Day By Room 9 Kids One day I got up and looked out my window and saw fog. Fog hid everything. I could hardly see at all! I went to watch channel 18 on my TV to see if it was a foggy day schedule. Wow ! I get to go to school late today. I met my friend outside to play our favorite fog game, Hide-N-Fog-Seek. It is fun to play on a foggy day, because it is easy to hide in the fog. I went to bed and had a dream about fog. When I woke up, it was sunny!
Snow By Marissa If it snowed in Hanford, I would be surprised. First I'd
run outside and make a snowman and a snow angel. I would make a big snowball and throw it
in my dad's face. Then I'd invite my cousin over. We'd play hide-n-seek.
The Abominable Snowman If it snowed in Hanford, I would be shocked. I would make a mean snowman and call it the abominable snowman. I would stick a snowball in my brother's backpack. The snowman and I would play paint ball. I would win! A Snowy Day If it snowed in Hanford, first I would get my boots on. Then I would go outside and make a snowman. Then I would make snow angels. Then I would have a snowball fight with my friends. I would throw a snowball in my dad's face! I would laugh. My dad would get mad. He would run after me. I would fall because I'm laughing so hard.
Snow If it snowed in Hanford, I'd be shocked. I would run outside and play. I'd build an abominable snowman and beat it up. I'd have a snowball fight and make funny snowmen.
