Our first
grade class has been learning about our five senses. We have
written poems about fall and winter using our five senses. We
have shared many read-aloud winter books including some about
our senses. Recently, we read My Dog Truffle by Lynn
Reiser. This is a flip book of how Truffle sees winter through
his eyes, nose, tongue, ears and paws. We then went to
Kidspiration and using the Explore With Senses activity, picked
out a winter picture and wrote about all of our senses. Most of
our class loves their hot chocolate!
