Our 3rd grade
class read Snow Music, by Lynne Rae Perkins. Snow
Music does not have one definite plot. Instead, the book has
a series of images that combine to give you an accurate portrait
of a winter day. We have been learning how to use more detail,
in both our writing and illustrations. The students created
their own portraits of a favorite winter day. Through the use of
Kidpix, the students drew a snow globe describing their winter
scene.
