Mrs.
Marshall�s second grade class enjoyed listening to the
heartwarming story entitled, Peef, The Christmas Bear. Tom Hegg,
the author, has done a beautiful job in creating an adorable
�quilted� bear character and bringing it to life for all
children to read and enjoy! After talking about Peef in detail,
the children began to have an appreciation for patchwork and
quilting. We decided to use our computers and Kidpix3 to �draw�
a winter weather scene and print them in color. After cutting
the edges of each graphic with pinking shears, we glued our
�pieces� onto the �blanket� and created an awesome Winter
Weather Quilt!! (Not very cozy, but it sure is colorful!)
