Not very long ago, in the cold, snowy North Pole lived a girl named Michelle. Michelle had some special snow boots that kept her feet warm and snuggly in the cold, snowy North Pole.

Every day Michelle played outside in the cold, snowy North Pole. Every night she left her wet snow boots outside on her porch to dry.
One morning when Michelle woke up, she went outside to put on her warm and snuggly boots. They were not on the porch! Michelle wondered where they could be. She went inside and put on her very old snow boots and went to look for her special boots. She looked high and she looked low. Finally Michelle found her special boots. They were in the water. A polar bear was using her special boots to hold water. She got her special boots back and poured out the water. She went home and put them on her porch to dry.

The next morning when Michelle woke up, she went outside to put on her warm and snuggly boots. They were not on the porch again! Michelle wondered where they could be. She went inside and put on her very old snow boots and went to look for her special boots. She looked high and she looked low. Finally Michelle found her special boots. They were in the water again. A walrus was using her special boots to give her babies a bath. Michelle got her special boots back and poured out the water. She went home and put them on her porch to dry again.

A seal was using her special boots to put her babies in and push them across the ice. She got her special boots back and gently took out the baby seals. She went home and put them on her porch to dry.

A reindeer had taken her boots to Santa. He had decorated them for Michelle. Michelle took her special boots home and lived happily ever after.
