Each group created a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting two penguins of their choice. We also did interactive writing, in which we created a graph titled "Our Favorite Penguins". Each student drew a picture of his/her favorite penguin and then we graphed it.

 We then wrote two sentences about our graph.  We read many books on penguins over the course of the month, but the two projects we did we based around the books, Face-to-Face Peguins by Scholastic Books and The Penguin Family Book by Lauritz Somme and Sybille Kalas.
