Guess How Much I Love You

After reading the book and brainstorming, we wrote our sequel to the story, Guess How Much I love You. We tested our knowledge of geography and space, and thought of some really far away places!
Just as we were about to complete our work, we had a visit from two real live bunnies, named Flopsy and Cottontail! We learned what bunnies eat and drink, as well as how to hold them. We also noticed how much bunnies like to get out of their cages!

Little Nutbrown Hare woke up early the next morning and was very surprised that he didn’t see Big Nutbrown Hare. He looked all around; behind the trees, under a log, and even down by the riverbed.

As it turned out, Big Nutbrown Hare was out looking for food. It wasn’t until later that afternoon that Big Nutbrown Hare finally came back. Little Nutbrown Hare was so excited to see Big Nutbrown Hare that he yelled out, “ I missed you! " and he started thinking again about how much he loved Big Nutbrown Hare.

As Big Nutbrown Hare prepared their food, Little Nutbrown Hare said, “I love you as high as a volcano!”

This made Big Nutbrown Hare stop what he was doing and say, “Well, I love you as deep as the ocean.”

Then Little Nut brown Hare thought for a few moments and said, “I love you all the way to Texas!”

Big Nutbrown Hare responded, “I love you all the way to the North Pole.”

As Little Nutbrown Hare washed up for dinner, he said, “Well, I love you all the way to China!

Big Nutbrown Hare said, “I love you all the way to the Land Down Under, and now it’s time to eat.”

Little Nutbrown Hare always followed Big Nutbrown Hare’s directions and ate his dinner completely. But as soon as he was finished, Little Nutbrown Hare said, “I love you all around the world.”

Later, as Little Nutbrown Hare was getting ready for bed, Big Nutbrown Hare said, “ I love you all the way up to the moon!”

It wasn’t long before both of them were snuggled down for the night and just as Big Nutbrown Hare closed his eyes to sleep, Little Nutbrown Hare whispered in his ear, “I love you all the way to Pluto and back!” and he fell fast asleep too.
