SO WHERE DOES MR. LADYBUG COME IN?
Yes, there are male ladybugs. If you feel a bit uncomfortable calling them lady, you may opt for a more politically correct name like....Insectbug, or Polka-dot Beetle. But the male ladybug plays a key role in the continuance of the specie. Even though he is smaller than the female, he has to take on the task of mating with her so that she can later produce egss that will become larva, that will in turn become a pupa, which will eventually become an adult ladybug.
