The ladybugs aren't budging.  I poked them a little with my finger and breathed hot air on them but they didn't stir.  That's kind of like how I feel on Saturday mornings.  The thermometer says it's 58 degrees.  I wanted to wear mittens to school!

I got a flashlight and tried to count the ladybugs.  It wasn't easy because there are so many on top of each other.  The layer I could see seemed to have about 30.  I estimate there are two other layers - that would make about 90 bugs!  It is 60 degrees outside today.

Still sleeping.  It's 61 degrees Farenheit today.

The ladybugs are still there.  I sat and looked at them for at least 15 minutes.  I thought I could see one move.  Then I decided that, even if one or two were waking up, it might take awhile for the 87 others to get their drift.  Sigh.  A good scientist asks questions and gathers information.  I think I'll do some research on the Internet while I'm waiting!
