Our third grade project focused on comparing and contrasting ladybugs to butterflies.  We spent time reading different materials about both ladybugs and butterflies.  After reading together each child made a Venn diagram comparing the two insects.  From their Venn diagram they filled in a comparison and contrasting sheet that would later help them with their report.  What we have included for you to see is their final product or essay.  We also scanned their pictures that they drew of both the ladybug and butterfly onto their essay.  We hope you enjoy learning how these two creatures are the same and different.
