Q1: Compare the views of Peter Ward to Daniel Simberloff.
A1: Peter Ward's views are different because he thinks mass extinction will happen quicker then Daniel Simberloff beliefs.

Q2: Why would Peter Ward refer to Homo sapiens as an "asteroid?"
A2: Peter Ward thinks people are like asteroids because people are destroying the environment just like the asteroid destroyed the dinosaurs.

Q1: Compare the views of Peter Ward to Daniel Simberloff.
A1: Peter ward thinks that a mass extinction kills species and Daniel Simberloff thinks nature of the impacts of introduces species on native species and ecosystems allows inferences about extinction rates.

Q2: Why would Peter Ward refer to Homo sapiens as an "asteroid?"
A2: Peter ward refers to homo sapiens as an asteroid because when a biosphere already stressed by rapid changes in climate and sea level was knocked into mass extinction by the impact of asteroids.

Q1: Compare the views of Peter Ward to Daniel Simberloff.
A1:Peter Ward and Daniel Simberloff have the same ideas pretty much.
They both agree that mass extinction will effect the environment and nature
greatly. They both express greatly that out of 6-10 million species we
only identified 1 million and that we don't concentrate on the other
organisms that aren't as big and important as us.
Q2:Why would Peter Ward refer to Homo sapiens as an "asteroid?"
A2:Peter Ward would refer to homo sapiens as an asteroid because that's
what we are in a way. We are an asteroid by when we came to earth we
started destroying the ecosystem and disturbing nature like an asteroid.
So with every new invention more of our asteroid hits earth such as
cars and the gas they use.

Q1: Compare the views of Peter Ward to Daniel Simberloff.
A1: Peter Ward thinks that a mass extinction kills species and Daniel Simberloff thinks nature of the impacts of introduced species on native species and ecosystems allows inferences about extinction rates. The evidence all points to a global tragedy with a profound loss of biodiversity.

Q2:Why would Peter Ward refer to Homo sapiens as an "asteroid?"
A2: When a biosphere already stressed by rapid changes in climate and sea level was knocked into mass extinction by the impact of asteroids
