Q1: Why do you think this flag was created?
A1: This is a flag from the Civil War. The stars stand for the original colonies. The red stands for blood shed. It was a war, so there was a lot of blood then. They might have put the stars on there because the stars stand for the 13 colonies and it shows that we can win.
Q2: What does this flag make you think of today?
A2: This flag makes me think of the flag we have today. It also makes me think of how we work together today.

Q2: What does this flag make you think of today?
A2: This flag automatically makes me think of the Civil War. It also reminds me of a segregated country that fought for their way of life.

Q1: Why do you think this flag was created?
A1: I believe this flag was created by the states of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War era to show unity between those states.  The states in the CSA supported slavery.
Q2: What does this flag make you think of today?
A2: This flag makes me think of slavery, and the archaic idea that human beings could be sold and kept as property.  Some people in modern times have adopted this flag as a sign of hatred toward African-Americans.
They also adopt this flag as a sign of unity between Caucasian people  who are intolerant and prejudiced against African-Americans and often any  other nationality or race that is different from them. I do not share  these beliefs.
