The states in the CSA supported slavery. Q2: What does this flag make you think of today? A2: This flag makes me think of slavery, and the archaic idea that human beings could be sold and kept as property. Some people in modern times have adopted this flag as a sign of hatred toward African-Americans. They also adopt this flag as a sign of unity between Caucasian people who are intolerant and prejudiced against African-Americans and often any other nationality or race that is different from them. I do not share these beliefs. |
