Assessment My students were assessed on this writing task by seeing if they followed the pattern modeled first by me. We discussed how all poetry doesn't have to rhyme. Students were also encouraged to be an "editor" and check for capitals and periods in their writing before having it checked by me. I also acted as a facilitator as students worked together in their cooperativegroups. I was monitoring the groups to make sure each student participated in writing the poems. |
