Champs-�lys�es. Many people think it is the most famous avenue in the world! Nearly 400 years ago it was marshland and fields. 300 years ago it was named the Elysian Fields. That is what Champs-�lys�es means in French. The final stage of the Tour De France (stage 21) takes place on the Champs-�lys�es. |
