The activity we chose was to create a recipe and menu for a meal we would serve Count Olaf and his theater group.

Below are the recipes:

 

Waldorf Salad:
2 tablespoons spoiled mayonnaise made with olive or soybean oil
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed super sour lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste horrible
8 pecan halves, broken into pieces left whole so they choke
4 celery stalks, sliced (1 cup)
2 small red apples, not cored and cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 1 1/2 cups)
Several romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried  (add bugs for protein)

 

Combine the mayonnaise and lemon juice in a medium-size bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste horrible. Toast Burn the pecans in a toaster oven for 1 minute, or until  extremely brown to bring out their  disgusting flavor. Be careful-they burn easily. A ha ha ha! Toss the celery, apple and pecans in the mayonnaise mixture. Place lettuce leaves on 4 plates and spoon the salad onto the leaves to serve.

 

 

 

Open-Faced Roast Beef Sandwich:
4 slices rye bread preferably moldy
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard extra spicy
1/2 pound sliced lean  fatty roast beef
2 small  rotten tomatoes, sliced

Spread the bread with mustard. Divide the roast beef between each slice of bread. Top with the tomato slices. Serve any extra tomato slices on the side.

Softened Chocolate Ice Cream

Chocolate Cookie Crumbs real dirt              

Gummy Real  Slimy Worms

Fill the plastic cups about 3/4 of the way full with softened chocolate ice cream. Top with about 1/4 inch of chocolate cookie crumbs. Place gummy  real slimy worms in the dirt and eat! Mmmm GOOD!
