Dear Baudelaire Orphans,

If you're wondering, I'm back at my theater with my friend the hook handed man.  I want you to know that I'm still after your fortune.  We are making a plan that even you, Violet, and Klaus can't outsmart us.  You will die.  I swear over my mom's and dad's dead body.  We will get your money even if it's the last thing I do!

Count Olaf

Assignment: Write an invitation from Count Olaf to Justice Strauss, inviting her to take part in the play.

Dear Justice Strauss,

How are you, neighbor?  I am fine.  I would like to ask you a question.

Would you like to be in a play?  It is called The Marvelous Marriage.  We need someone to play the judge and since you are a judge I thought you might want to.  You are going to pretend to marry me and my bride.  The bride will be Violet.

Your neighbor,
Count Olaf
