Journal Writing Assignment: Imagine you are Violet. Write a personal journal entry about how you felt after the wedding with Count Olaf was called off. Dear Diary, Today when Act Two was going on right after the part when I was supposed to get married to Count Olaf. He stopped the play right after that scene and announced that we were married. It was a big shock to everyone in the audience and to the people in the play too. After I heard that I felt so surprised that he told everyone that we were really married. Then I told him that I used my left hand to sign the document instead of my right and I am right handed so we weren’t really married! Dear Diary, Today when Act Two was going on right after the part when I was supposed to get married to Count Olaf, he stopped the play. After he stopped the scene in Act Two he announced that we were married. It was a big shock to the cast of the play and to the audience. After I heard this news, I was shocked too. I was shocked because I didn't want Count Olaf to get the Baudelaire fortune. When everyone heard that I signed the document with my left hand and I really write with my right hand everyone started to shout out that we weren't really married. When Justice Strauss said that we weren't married, I felt relieved.
