Letter Writing

Assignment:  Create a postcard from the Baudelaire children to their friends describing what their life is like.

Dear Elizabeth,

    Life is terrible. I miss my friends, especially you,

and I really miss my parents. Count Olaf (he is the

man taking care of us), is a mad man, and he is very

evil!!! He makes us do tons of chores, sleep in a

dusty, old room, that has eyes all over the room

that creep me out. I miss you and I’ll try to sneak

out of this house with Klaus and Sunny to meet

you at the statue on 51^st Street, at 3:30 p.m.
