In celebration of Earth Day, we read
The Lorax by Dr. Seuss and discussed the effects of the
character’s actions and decisions. We also discussed the message
that Dr. Seuss was sending through his story and we compared the
ideas with things in our world today. We then created a cause-effect
graphic organizer as a Shared Writing activity. We generated ideas
for causes and then filled in our effects. We re-created our graphic
organizer in Kidspiration, but have left the effect parts
blank for others to try and complete!
