One of our favorite books to read is called Animals of the Earth, Sea, and Sky by Georgia Heard. It is a collection of animal poetry. We’ve read different poems from this book throughout the year. For our Earth Day celebration we returned to this book to reread some of our favorite poems. We then decided to write our own animal poems, which were of course, inspired by Georgia Heard. We used KidPix to type and illustrate them. We hope you enjoy reading our poems as much as we enjoyed reading Georgia Heard’s poems.
