| January, 2004 I just returned from a week in paradise. I've traveled throughout the Caribbean and without a doubt, Los Roques is my favorite destination. The photograph you are looking is was taken at Posada Las Palmeras where we stayed for three nights. The rest of our time we spent at Macanao Lodge. The architecture on Gran Roques was beautiful as you can see in this slide show. My husband David spent his days scuba diving at different reefs. I chose to snorkel and relax at the beach! The snorkeling was excellent and better than many dives I've done before. My underwater photography is very limited so I invite you to view the photographs that David took while diving.
