Frosty The Snowman

By Carol North

Mrs. Anderson's Class

William H. Brown Elementary School

Chicago, Illinois

My first graders had fun reading the book, Frosty the Snowman.  We read the book just before holiday break.   They also watched the movie Frosty the Snowman.  They compared the book to the movie.  The children drew pictures of what their Frosty the Snowman would look like if they were the character in the story.  We made Frosty the Snowman masks too.   There are some budding artists in my class!  In addition the children wrote Snowman poetry.  We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it!
