We had a lot of fun reading The Mitten and doing activities related to the story. We used the mitten theme in our math & writing centers. In the science center we sorted our own mittens into different groups. We even videotaped our own version of the story. Boy, did that mitten stretch and stretch for us animals! We wrote down our favorite parts of the story and drew pictures too.
What’s your favorite part of The Mitten?  Please write to us and let us know!
