Until one morning, after Andrew received his daily phone call from Frankie to meet at Champs, Andrew noticed his bicycle tire was flat.  There was a slice in the tire. 

I don’t know how this could have happened, Andrew thought to himself.  Andrew remembered that his bicycle tire was absolutely fine yesterday and he left it behind his shed in his backyard like he always did.  Feeling bewildered, Andrew walked to Champs and met his two best friends. 

“Hey guys, you wouldn’t believe what happened,” Andrew said to Eric and Frankie.   “There is a slice in my bike tire.  Someone must have slit  it last night because it was riding fine yesterday.”

“I think I have a good idea who it could have been,” said Eric.

“Who?” asked Andrew.  "I can’t think of a reason anyone would do such a thing."

“It probably was the Bike Gang.  They didn’t look so happy the other day after we beat them in basketball,” Eric said. 

“Wow, your right it had to be them,” said Frankie. 

“Wait a minute, we can’t just jump to conclusions,” said Andrew.
