We told you we'd return and we kept our promise. For this project,
students in grades K-2 will be following the same procedure as in
Kidspired Tales.
By popular demand we've decided to include grades 3-5. Participants will be following The Teaching/Learning Structure that is part of A Comprehensive Language and Literacy Framework described in Guiding Readers and Writers Grades 3-6 by Irene C. Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell. It is very flexible and participants may choose what works best in their classroom environment. Curriculum Components For those of you who already know the drill, you can register right now. We welcome newcomers, so if you haven't been on one of our collaborative Internet projects before you can find information about the project objectives, requirements and how to register. The firm deadline to send in materials for this project will be on February 15, 2003. We will be accepting 40 participants from grades K-5. Happy Reading! |
