Character Feeling Words
and Emotions


The Assignment

The students each picked a passage that talked about one of the characters in the story. 
They then were to draw something that showed the feeling of the character. 
Next they had to list words that showed the feelings and emotions of the character.
 Finally they were to write a paragraph that showed what 
they thought the character was feeling.


Reading Objectives

  • The student will recognize character feeling words and emotions such as patient, worried, delighted, annoyed, amused, bored, thrilled, and timid, etc. (TEKS 4.12H)

The Prince and the Dove

The prince looked so sad as he sat by the window feeding the dove who visited him every day. The prince must have been a very kind leader to care and feed for the beaautiful dove.
