The game was all ready to begin at Champ's Park. There were three twelve year old boys versus three fifteen year old teenage boys in a game of basketball. The game started off a little slow because neither team could make a shot. The young boys were playing very timid and the Bike Gang weren’t the best basketball players.
After about twenty minutes of poor basketball, the score was six to four. The Bike Gang was winning.
“What are we playing up to again?” asked Frankie.
“Seven, gotta win by two,” said the loud mouth Bike Gang player who was sitting out on the side of the court.
“Okay, time out”, called Eric.
Eric, Frankie, and Andrew huddled up. “We need to win this game so we can get our ball back,” said Eric. “When I call one--it means to set up a give and go, when I call two--it means to set a pick and roll, and when I call three--it means to spread the floor out so I can drive to the hole.”
The three close friends all agreed with Eric’s game plan.
